Tasting Notes
From a hillside site with maximum sun exposure and minimum water retention, Brookfields Hillside Syrah 2018 is sweet, spicy and intensely flavoured with notes of liquorice and pepper.
The winery writes "Very dark and extractive, the 2019 Hillside Syrah has cigar box, pepper, succulent new French oak and liquorice. It is rich with good length and flavours which last for ever. It reflects the growing season, low yields and careful management. The 2019 Hillside is handcrafted and very special."
