96/100 | Bob Campbell, MW
94/100 | Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate
A glorious example of biodynamically produced, Bendigo Pinot Noir from master Central Otago winemaker Rudi Bauer. Elegant and understated it builds on the palate to reveal its true power. Sensational wine with real cellar potential.
Certified Organic.
Bob Campbell writes "Intense yet elegant pinot noir with black cherry, dark berry, violet and spicy oak flavours. A seamless wine with impressive purity and power. While it can be appreciated now, it promises to deliver more with bottle age thanks to a structure of fine tannins."
The winery writes "Ruby-red in colour accompanied by notes of raspberry and spice. Rich and elegant on the palate with ripe plum, cherry and cinnamon. Medium bodied with velvet tannins integrated acidity and a long finish. Very good ageing potential."
