New from the iconic Church Road in Hawke’s Bay, this chardonnay was made from a single Tuki Tuki vineyard and crafted by one winemaker. This wine was made to show off the full potential of site and exemplify what Church Road is all about. Demonstrating restrained power, this is a multidimensional Chardonnay with great length, balance and a fresh acidity.
Tasting Notes
The winery writes "A core of ripe stone fruit and fragrant citrus and citrus blossom are overlaid with subtle aromas of roasted nuts, mealiness and a note of smoky gunflint. The palate is powerful, yet taught and fresh with a fine, slate like texture, great length and balanced fresh acidity."
